Anemia Diagnostics




Anaemia is a condition which is characterized by fall of hemoglobin’s and hematocrit’s levels. Thus, as a rule, there is a quantity decrease of erythrocytes. Most often the anemias are connected with deficit of ferrum (about 90 % of all anemias), which is more rare type atchronic diseases, and even more rare when they are connected with deficiency of vitamin 12 or folic acid (megaloblastic), hemolytic and aplastic. For diagnosis of iron deficiency related anemia specialists determine the level of ferritin along with the general clinical analysis of blood.
