AllergoFlow for basophil activation assessing by flow cytometry.
AllergoFlow is based on Basophil Activation Test (BAT). BAT is a semi-quantitative method for basophil activation assessing by flow cytometry.
Basophils and mast cells, being key effectors of innate immunity, are involved in the development of immediate allergic reaction together. Due to basophils localization in blood and its unique ability to degranulate in the presence of allergens, basophils can be successfully used for closely replicate this type of reaction in vitro.
